Phase 1: Two Weeks Before
Before a truck ever pulls into your driveway, there are boxes to check.
1. The HOA Approval
If you live in a subdivision with a Homeowners Association (HOA), you likely need approval for your shingle color.
- The Trap: Do not assume “Black” is okay just because your neighbor has it.
- The Fix: We provide you with a specific “Shingle Sample Board” and a spec sheet. Take this to your HOA meeting or email it to the trustees immediately. Getting this signed early prevents a “Stop Work” order later.
2. The Permit
The City of Creve Coeur requires building permits for re-roofing.
- Good News: You don’t have to do this. We handle the application, pay the fees, and schedule the inspections.

Phase 3: The Day Before

- Mirrors & Pictures: If you have heavy mirrors or framed photos hanging loosely on the top floor walls, take them down. They can rattle off their hooks.
